Saint Faustina Kowalska was born Helena Kowalska in Poland and became a sister with the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy, where she cooked, gardened and answered the door. Jesus gave her the image and feast of Divine Mercy, and she died in Kraków in 1938 AD, aged thirty-three.
