Saint Wenceslaus

Saint Wenceslaus was Duke of Bohemia in the tenth century, and his grandmother, Saint Ludmila, brought him up as a Christian. He was killed after his brother Boleslaus betrayed him, and the Church honours him as a martyr, someone who died for the faith.
